SSI - Self Storage Inc. was founded in the late 1980's. We first entered the self storage business with the purchase of Big Ben II at 4930 Emco Drive. Over the years we have tried to improve our image in the storage business by accommodating the customers that have patronized our place of business.
Currently we have done some improvements to our location on Emco drive, in 2006, we added electrical improvement to all of our buildings.
In 2007, we add two office for business rentals and started painting all the buildings. We also, started in 2007 with adding climate control to our commercial units and each quarter we had improved on our goal of adding climate control.
In 2008, we improved the main office space and installed a new color camera system.
In 2009, we added another office space with 1200 square feet. We also added eleven parking spaces on the south side of the circle out front.
In 2013, we added another office space with 800 square feet with a kitchen area for IAT (they build BUV's for third world countries). We also added another office space with 1600 square feet with a kitchen area and another eleven parking spaces on the circle.
In 2014, we added another 1400 square feet office space.
In 2020, we have put New Roofs on five buildings. We are thankful to our neighbor Nu-Tec.
